Can USA Become Superior Again in Sprint Event?

Team USA was superior at World Athletics, Championship, 2022 held at Oregon. It is regarded USA will again dominate the Sprint event at World Athletics Championship going to be held in Budapest, Hungary from 19 to 27 August. The good form of Shacarri Richardson is an extra Boost for the US.

In 100 m male, Defending Champion Fred Kerley is in 3rd at world Ranking, with a time of 9.88 sec. while Zharnel Hughes from GB is the highest rank with 9.83 sec and Ferdinand Omanyala from Kenya is in 2nd position with 9.84 sec. Kerely can boost in major Tournaments that’s why he is considered a favorite.

Defending Champion Noah Lyles is in the highest rank in 200 m with 19.47 sec. He is consistent and Many pundits hoping to Challenge Bolt’s world record of 19.19 sec. Another US rookie 3rd ranked Erriyon Knighton with 19.72 sec. Seeing his terrific progress last year he is supposed to upset the field. 400 m seems a weaker event for the US.

In the case of 110 m Hurdles, Rasheed Broadbell is leading in the rank list with 12.94 sec. But Defending Champion Grant Holloway, 2nd Ranked Cordell Tinch and Us Champion Daniel Roberts may be dangerous at major meet. All these US runners have the potential for medals.

In 400 m Hurdles World Record Holder Karsten Warholm from Norway, Rai Benjamin from the USA, and Defending World champion Alison Dos Santos from Brazil seem to fulfill the podium. Last year Santos clinched the title when most of the years Warholm was struggling from injury.

In the Female 100m Defending Champion Sherica Jackson from  Jamaica and Richardson are in the best form. Last year Jamaica clean-swiped that event. In 200 m Gabrielle Thomas From the US is leading position.  

400 m Hurdle World record Holder Sydney McLaughlin Levrone is in good form in 400 m. Sydney is considered as best 400 m flat runner as Sanya Richards Ross. She is already below 49 sec.  

Nia Ali is ist rank at 100 m Hurdles. World Record Holder and Defending Champion Tobi Asuman from Nigeria is not looking Sharp, this year. While Olympics Champion Jasmine Camacho Quinn is believed to threaten Ali and Kendra Harrison Both from the US.

This Fimka Bomel is looking sharp. That’s why Sydney and Bomel may have a tight race in the 400 m Hurdles.

In the Male 400-meter relay, the US is looking best on paper.  The US may be dominant at the male 1600-meter relay.  

Female 400 Relay Jamaica is far better than the US from Flat Time. Ballon change may be a key factor like last year. Last year, Jamaica clean Swipped the tally in individuals but was upset By the US at the relay. 1600 m relay US is looking Sharp. Sydney and Athing Mu can deliver huge effort.
