Finally, the Nepal Baseball and Softball Association( NBSA) Became the major sports of Nepal and it has huge impact in Nepalese Sports with respect of Activities, international participation, and tournaments after regular movement of 16 years.
Under the dynamic leadership of Dipak Neupane, the National federation had a huge impact on the domestic and international levels.
NBSA was established in 2009 as the sole governing body for baseball and softball in Nepal and registered with the National Sports Council and its have 16 year of successful era of huge impact in Nepalese Sports.
In 2013, NBSA formally applied for membership in the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC). In 2016, NOC issued a recognition letter acknowledging NBSA as the sole governing body for baseball and softball in Nepal.
It has conducted Three Senior National Baseball Championships. Three Junior U-15 National Championships are also organized By the National Federation.
U-18 National Championship was successfully held once. Baseball 5 National Championship in 2024, aligning with the inclusion of Baseball 5 in the Youth Olympic Games.
Several province-level and district-level tournaments were conducted to promote the sport at the grassroots level.

West Asia Cup: Participated in four editions since 2013. South Asian Cup: Competed in 2011 and 2019.
Arab Classic 2024: Represented Nepal in this international tournament. Affiliations with International and Asian Governing Bodies

World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC): NBSA has been a full member since 2016. WBSC governs Baseball, Softball, and Baseball5, all of which are recognized as Olympic sports.
The Nepalese Federation got Full membership from the Asian Baseball Federation (BFA) in 2016.
