ATMAA Honors IITA World Champions in Virginia
The American Taekwon-Do Martial Arts Academy (ATMAA) held a Special Honor and Recognition Program on August 15, 2026, to celebrate its medalists from the 2026 IITA Online World Championship. The championship was held in New Zealand by IITA Founder and President Sabum Ben on June 1, 2026.

Under the dedicated coaching of Sabum Sharada Rai, the ATMAA team proudly achieved 15 medals—10 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze. ATMAA has continuously participated in the IITA World Championships, proudly representing the United States. The academy also plans to participate in the upcoming IITA World Cup in October 2026. Master Krishna Balal, Founder and Headmaster of ATMAA, has been actively involved with IITA since 2012 and continues to support the international development and promotion of Taekwon-Do.

The ATMAA World Champion Warriors also received special recognition letters from Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, U.S. Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, and Congressman James R. Walkinshaw for their outstanding achievements, dedication, and proud representation of the United States. ATMAA extends its warmest congratulations to all its World Champion Warriors. Their discipline, perseverance, and remarkable accomplishments are a source of great pride and inspiration for the entire ATMAA Family and community.
