The Inspiring Journey of ATMAA Assistant Master Namrata Paudel
Namrata Paudel is a 3rd Degree Black Belt, the 2026 IITA World Champion, and ATMAA’s Black Belt of the Year 2025. Her journey is a powerful example of dedication, discipline, perseverance, personal transformation, and the true never-give-up spirit of Taekwon-Do. As a busy mother of two, Namrata carries many important responsibilities. She takes care of her two children and husband, manages her professional career, maintains her own intensive training, teaches students, and supports the ATMAA community.

Despite her demanding schedule, she consistently finds time for Taekwon-Do and for helping others. One of the most inspiring parts of Namrata’s journey is that she trains alongside her two sons. Her older son, Neevan Paudel, is a 1st Degree Black Belt and an IITA World Champion. Her younger son, Ayan Paudel, is a High Red Belt and a three-time IITA World Champion. Namrata and her two sons train at ATMAA from Monday through Sunday. Together, they demonstrate how Taekwon-Do can strengthen not only the body and mind but also the bond between a mother and her children. By training with them, Namrata teaches her sons the values of discipline, respect, responsibility, perseverance, and service through her own example.
While many people use their free time for parties, vacations, or entertainment, Namrata chooses to give the highest priority to Taekwon-Do training, supporting her children, and helping others. This does not mean that rest and family enjoyment are unimportant; rather, it demonstrates the extraordinary commitment and sacrifice she willingly makes to achieve her goals and serve her Taekwon-Do family. Through consistent effort and strong determination, Namrata has grown from a beginner into a respected Black Belt, instructor, international champion, and inspiring role model.
She is one of ATMAA’s most dedicated members, and her daily actions show that genuine success comes through sacrifice, consistency, and service to others. Namrata has been an outstanding contributor to the American Taekwon-Do Martial Arts Academy since its foundation. She is one of ATMAA’s most valued members and strongest pillars. She is always ready to support the academy, assist its students and families, and contribute to every program with loyalty, kindness, unity, and harmony. Namrata proudly says, “ATMAA is my second home.” Her sincere service and continued dedication demonstrate the true meaning of these words. For Namrata,

Taekwon-Do is much more than kicking and punching. It is a way of life that has helped her become physically stronger, mentally peaceful, more confident, and better prepared to face life’s challenges. Her journey carries a powerful message for mothers, women, and the younger generation: age, family responsibilities, fear, and a busy schedule should never prevent anyone from pursuing personal growth and achieving their dreams. Namrata is currently training harder to prepare for the IITA World Cup in October 2026. She is determined to challenge herself, improve her skills, and once again represent ATMAA and the United States with pride. From November 4–9, 2026, she will travel to the International Taekwon-Do Federation headquarters in Vienna, Austria.

She plans to participate in the International Umpire Seminar, International Technical Seminar, and International Instructor Seminar. This important international experience will help her expand her technical knowledge, leadership ability, teaching skills, and understanding of Taekwon-Do. Namrata has set a lifelong goal: never to quit Taekwon-Do. She dreams of becoming a future Grandmaster and a dedicated international promoter of Taekwon-Do. Her mission is not only to earn higher ranks and titles but also to share the values of discipline, respect, confidence, humility, and perseverance with future generations. Her achievements are not measured only by her 3rd Degree Black Belt, championship medals, or special awards.
Her greatest strengths are her humility, leadership, supportive nature, and willingness to help others. True champions are not defined only by the medals they win—they are remembered for the people they inspire and the positive difference they make in their communities. Namrata’s story teaches the younger generation that success does not happen overnight.

Every achievement requires patience, sacrifice, consistent training, respect for parents and instructors, and the courage to continue during difficult times. Challenges should never become reasons to quit; they should become opportunities to grow stronger. She is a wonderful role model for mothers, women, working professionals, students, Black Belts, and the entire ATMAA Family. Her journey proves that when a person has a clear goal, a positive attitude, and an unbreakable spirit, no dream is too difficult to achieve.
ATMAA is truly proud of Assistant Master Namrata Paudel and deeply appreciates her continued dedication, leadership, and unconditional support. May her inspiring journey encourage the new generation to believe in themselves, work hard toward their goals, serve their communities, help others, and never give up on their dreams. The journey from a busy mother to a World Champion is not the end of her story—it is the beginning of an even greater mission.
